Oral bcp ?: If you are still having menstrual periods, taking Levlen will lessen "pre-menstrual syndrome" and regulate your menses. Levlen has far less estrogen in it than your ovaries now make , and with Levlen, your ovaries are stopped from making estrogen. Ask your gyn provider to discuss oral bcp to make sure you are a candidate.
