Unlikely: It's unlikely that you can stop your period with 2 birth control pills. In order to stop bleeding you would need to take more pills, but taking high doses of estrogen can have it's own side effects. Best is to take pills from first week (active) of pack and hopefully period will at least be shortened. In future, can consider menstrual suppression, skipping placebo row of pills.
