Cracking/fissures: These can be signs of a female vaginal yeast infection. I suggest trying over the counter miconzaole ( Monistat ) cream for 3-4 days and wear loose undergarments; however, if you have had unprotected sexual intercourse-get checked for stds.

Inflammation: You have some type of inflammatory process there. It could be infectious or an allergic or sensitivity type reaction. Without an exam and testing it would be impossible to tell you what this is or what to do....Best to get a check up.
