NO: Did you see a dermatologist or other specialist with experience treating herpes? This should have been clearly discussed already. Are you sure this is primary infection, or is it a recurrence? Is it type 1 or 2? What treatment? If you do not know the answers, see a dr who is an expert on herpes.
