What does it mean when a vagina is itchy?

Yeast, allergy, lice: You can have an external yeast infection without significant discharge. If that's what it is, it would respond to Clotrimazole 1% cream. But it's also common to have allergic reactions in that area. Antihistamines and steroid creams would help with that. If you might have acquired pubic lice - see a doctor for confirmation and treatment.

May be yeast : The only way to know what this is is to be examined by your doctor. It may be a yeast infection. If an over the counter yeast medication solves the problem then most likely that's all it was. Other possibilities include lichen sclerosis, lichen simplex chronicus, allergic reactions and psoriasis. Schedule a visit.
