Not likely: If he was okay for year after hernia surgery, then that is not likely to be the cause of diminished sexual activity. How old is your partner? Does he have any other health issues? It would help to consult a doctor for an evaluation as there are many causes of erectile dysfunction.

Not likely-check: Although quite rare, the spermatic cord can be injured, scarred or cut.. If he is hiding, are you sure something else isn't going on? See both a surgeon and a urologist.
