Making babies: Sperm left inside of the vagina during the five days leading up to ovulation cause pregnancy. Two weeks before ovulation would be during your period. Babies are not created during the menses.

it is risky to have unprotected sex unless your partner is monogamous. I would suggest see your MD or a Gyn and be treated according to findings.
