Is there a test where doctors can date herpes to the first out break? i got it from my bf but want to prove he had it first.

Unfortunately not: There is really no test that can determine when the first outbreak occurred. It can detect the evidence of antibodies against the virus and whether the infection is acute or whether one has been exposed to the virus before.
