Seek medical evaluat: The groin has a high concentration of lymph nodes. Not necessarily cancer, but needs evaluated by your doctor. May just need antibiotics. Might need biopsy.

Groin: That hard lump in your groin could be an inguinal hernia. Have your doctor check you out.

Need an Exam: The only way to answer your question is for you to have an exam by your doc. It could be an infected lymph gland or something else. Please get it checked out so you can hopefully breathe a sigh of relief. Pease and good health.
