Not likely...: The mode of transmission of herpes is direct contact of skin where herpes virus is "shedding" from. It certainly cannot be contracted from clean clothes of an affected person.

No!: Although genital herpes is contagious, it does not live long on surfaces. It really requires skin to skin contact to be transmitted. I wouldn't worry at all about a clean pair of pants!
