Are there any ways to get genital warts without having intercourse?

Spread from hands: Regular warts on the hands could spread to the genitals. They are both caused by a similar virus.

Oral sex: Oral sex can transmit it also.

Direct contact: Usually prolonged direct contact with a genital wart or a contaminated surface (fomite) can transfer the virus and start an infection. With early treatment of a solitary lesion, the risk of spread can be reduced or eliminated.
