Birth control: smoking while on birth control is not a good idea and actually birth control is not supposed to be prescribed to smokers over age 35. Your risk of heart attack and stroke is relatively high with this combination.

Hormones & smoking: Smoking in of itself is hazardous to your health with its' well known risks, but when combined with estrogen and other hormones the risk increases. Not a good idea.
