Sounds like: It sounds like you have an abscess, or possibly an infected (or abscessed) bartholin;s gland, depending on where the mass is. Definitely sounds like an infection. You can try applying warm compresses to the area several times a day, which encourages the abscess to drain on it's own, but if it doesn't drain, or resolve on it's own, then you need to see a doctor about antibiotics or drainage.
