Semen: During workups for infertility we usually recommend that semen be examined within a 30 minute window. Semen loses viability very rapidly outside the body.

Not long unfrozen: Sperm ejaculated outside the body might survive in semen, the fluid released during ejaculation, up to a few hours. Sperm can be preserved for weeks when semen is stored at a lowered temperature, ...Or years when semen is frozen, such as those in a sperm bank.

Depends: In some settings they would be inactivated almost immediately & others they may survive fro minutes/hour or so. They do not survive if they dry out or encounter chemicals/soaps that inactivate them. They do not stay around for days on a toilet seat waiting to impregnate someone.

Um, WHAT?: Intravaginal semen (/sperm) routinely survive 3-5 days, if that is what you are trying to ask. If not, need to re-ask with more detail as to question.
