A member asked:

Will my period return to regular times if i go back on birth control?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: The bleeding you get on the pill isn't really a period; it's a withdrawal bleed. Once your body has acclimated to the pill, you can control when, and even if, you bleed. That's why there are new pill schedules: monthly, every three months, or not at all.
