A member asked:

On continuous birth control and had breakthrough bleeding for 3 weeks, stopped the pill for 2 days to have period. when am i safe again without condom?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends: If you are in the third month of the continuous pill and have not skipped any other pills, you will probably be safe after your bleeding is under control in one month. Break through bleeding may mean that is not the right pill for you, so talk to your provider.
