Last day of period was dec 3rd ovulation days 15th-19th of december sex on the 17th, took pregnancy test was neg. should i retake preg. test?

After missing period: A urine pregnancy test, done correctly, gives a reliable result 1 week after missing a period, or 3 weeks after having sex (if a woman can't predict when she has missed a period because of irregular periods). There is usually no need to test any sooner.
