Balanitis or: paraphimosis are inflammations of the penis head. Paraphimosis only occurs in uncircumsized boys when a tight foreskin is caught behind a swollen glans. Balanitis can be caused by friction, poor hygiene, or allergies to laundry detergent in the non-sexually active man.
