What are the specific symptoms of herpes zoster? to know when a person have to go to the doctor...

A doctor has provided 1 answer

shingles: Herpes zoster, or shingles, is a reactivation of the chicken pox virus. It often causes symptoms of burning, tingling, sharp sensation, or dull pain prior to the onset of the actual rash. Once the rash develops it is often a cluster of red, blistering lesions that are located in one particular area of the body (called dermatomes) supplied by a particular nerve. Dr can prescribe appropriate meds.
