Rh Factor: Rheumatoid factor is very different from rh, or rhesus factor. Rf represents an autoimmune process, where your body is attacking itself. Rh is the "d" antigen, which makes our blood cells either positive or negative, such as o+ or o-. If it is present on our red blood cells, we do not make antibodies against it, otherwise we would attack our own blood. But if it is neg, then we do make them.
