Stuck food: Hello, the pathway for food through your throat into your esophagus takes but a few seconds to complete yet it involves many muscular actions and relaxations. Food can get stuck in tonsils, the side of your tongue, the lateral pharyngeal wall and finally inside your esophagus in a sac or diverticulum. See your ENT doctor for a complete evaluation, endoscopy and probably imagery.
