What does bile look like when you cough it up?

Possibility....: Bile should not be located in your respiratory tract so you should not be coughing up bile. Bile is green but if you are coughing up green secretions, it is usually a sign of infection from acute bronchitis, pneumonia, sinus infection with post-nasal drip, etc. See your doctor so your problem can be diagnosed and treated.
