no: Claritin (loratadine)-d only comes in tablet form. Claritin (loratadine) alone (without the decongestant) comes in liquid.
A member asked:

Can I take Claritin (loratadine) d and mucinexdm?

1 doctor answer2 doctors weighed in
Dr. Barbara Stark Baxter
Allergy and Immunology 43 years experience
Meds for colds: Yes, but it's not usually advisable. Claritin d contains antihistamine and decongestant. Mucinex (guaifenesin) dm contains expectorant and cough suppressant. If you had allergies only, and they gave you a tickle cough, it would be ok. If you have a cold, you should avoid the antihistamine in claritin, because it will dry the secretions and make them get stuck in the sinuses, lengthening the cold.

Claritin (loratadine): You should not have a problem with Claritin (loratadine).
Dr. Warren Wolfe
Family Medicine 59 years experience
Claritin-D contains in addition to just Claritin (an antihistamine), a sympathomimetic drug that may have an effect on your blood pressure and/or heart rate. Make sure the physician who is doing the colonoscopy is aware that you take this medication.

Stop it: If you are experiencing problems while on Claritin (loratadine) d then stop it and try a different antihistamine without decongestant.
A 44-year-old member asked:

Is it ok to combine Claritin (loratadine) d with nyquil?

1 doctor answer1 doctor weighed in
Dr. Jeffrey Rumbyrt
Allergy and Immunology 33 years experience
Yes but why?: Claritin (loratadine) d is a non-sedating antihistamine-decongestant combination used to treat allergies. Nyquil is used to treat common cold symptoms. It also may contain an antihistamine and decongestant, but the antihistamine is often sedating. This would not be something to use for allergies. Thus, using both would be a 'strange' combination.
