no: Tylenol (acetaminophen) is a pain relieving compound with no anti-inflammatory activity. Aspirin (asa) is also a pain reliever but does have anti-inflammatory powers. Aspirin can cause excess stomach acidity and heartburn while tylenol usually does not due this. They are both available in many forms over the counter but this does not mean they are entirely benign. Ask your doctor.
