If i have irregular periods can the calculation on how far alone i am can be wrong?

Yes: If your periods are irregular, you are probably not ovulating regularly. That would make the 'normal' pregnancy calculators incorrect in many cases. If you are pregnant, an early ultrasound can help determine how far pregnant you are.
