Duration: Generally blisters occur as a result of shear injury to the skin surface. They are filled with clear fluid. Most skin cancers are either flat or raised lesions. Biopsy can confirm the diagnosis of cancer.

Unlikely: A new blister site does not in any way indicate a skin cancer. See your pcp for an evaluation.
