Yes, by someone else: More likely than not, testosterone replacement therapy, whether by injection, cream/lotion/gel or patch, will render a man infertile. However, that is not to say that his female partner should not use contraception, just that, if fertility is an issue, he should find another way to increase t w/o replacing t directly. For instance, off-label Clomiphene or tamoxifen can be used to increase t level.
