Nausea post period: If your period usually lasts for 5-7 days, a week later may be ovulation bleeding, very common at age 45 and even much younger. Although the risk of pregnancy is low, it can still occur at 45. If the brown discharge continues, get a serum HCG test and see your healthcare provider for advice and possible other testing.
