Small irregularities: Small irregularities in menstrual cycle related to illness, medications, anovulatory cycle and birth control are common and are very rarely related to serious problem. If having unprotected intercourse, this may be due to pregnancy and possibly related to infection. If irregularities persist or there is associated pain see your gynecologist.
