Gastroenteritis?: Viral gastroenteritis (vomiting/diarrhea) is very contageous. Norovirus/ enterovirus/ norwalk virus are some of the most common causes of outbreaks. Spread can be stopped by good handwashing (lister was right!). There are many types of other contageous stomach infections: bacterial (salmonella, shigella, campylo bacter, h. Pylori, c. Diffi); parasites (giardia, cryptosporidia, cyclospora).....
