14 days: Before the end of your cycle, so if your cycles are 28 days apart u would ovulate, if u are ovulating which u may or may not be around day 14.

14 days before perio: Calculate your average cycle length from cd 1 (full flow) to next month's cd 1. You typically ovulate approx 14 days before your next period. If your cycles average 28 days, you will ovulate approx cd 14; if your cycles are 30 days, ovulation = cd 16 etc. Sperm lasts longer than the egg so better to have sex too early than too late.
