Arthritis: Arthritis stands for joint inflammation. There are different types of arthritis and pain is dealt with according to the type of arthritis. There are some general measures such as less weight bearing when the joint is acute inflamed, anti-inflammatory medications such as Ibuprofen or naproxen, footwear modifications, supportive devices, etc.
