You may be correct: At your age, there is a good chance that your theory is correct. But, especially if you're not happy about twice the menstrual annoyance, you might want your doctor or obgyn to check it out and be more certain that there is nothing unusual. The diabetes could be combining with the hormonal changes and is worth checking out too. It's probably fine - but worth looking into. Hoping you're fine!
