Emergency Contracep.: Check with the ob-gyn doctor, the primary care doctor, and/or consider the emergency contraception pill (plan b or morning-after pill; no prescription needed). It is not too late, because the morning-after pill usually works if taken within 5 days of sex. If one is on her normal regular period right now, then it is presumed that she cannot get pregnant at this time (so Plan B would not be needed).
