During an ncs test is it a normal procedure that the dr massage the muscles roughly? during the test?it happened to me.was very painful.

Rough No massage yes: It is a technique some times done to warm the muscle in order to get more precise readings. My practice uses warming pads as we find it is more tolerable to most patients. Overall, this is an uncomfortable test and is often coupled with electromyography which can also be uncomfortable.
