A member asked:

When cleaning your vagina, do you wash inside the labia minor where the urethra and vaginal opening are?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not usually: You don't really need to clean the opening of the vagina. Cleaning the outside of the vagina, the vulva is helpful as there are sweat glands there that can produce sebaceous type material which can smell if not cleaned. The tissue by the urethra and the vagina is different and is more sensitive and could have pain or burning with soap. I recommend eo organics shower gel. Very gentle. Good luck.
