Supposed to have acth stim test, but recently had to do 1wk prednisone pack. how long should i now wait before having the stim test?

Prob ok to proceed: After 1 week of prednisone, your baseline cortisol will be suppressed, but your adrenal should still be stimulated by the acth. If you can put off the test for another week-10 days, it may be a good idea, but if the test has to be done, go ahead. An experienced endocrinologist should be involved with interpretation of the values.
