A member asked:

My right foot feels numb around the ankle, is there a blood flow problem?

Most: Likely its a nerve problem. Should have nerve conduction study and maybe a nerve block. If your color is normal to your foot i doubt its vascular.

Think nerve: Numbness about the ankle is more likely to suggest an issue with the nerve(s). Numbness can be associated with circulatory issues, especially if the foot is swollen as well (venous) or if the foot is discolored and cool (arterial). Seeing a physician will help sort this out for you. Good luck.
