Probably not cancer.: This is probably just a benign skin discoloration called vulvar dystrophy. Very unlikely to be cancer because you are young and there is no lump. Agree with getting it evaluated by a dermatologist or gynecologist.

Yes.: It could be lots of other things. Follow your np's advice and have a dermatologist look at it, and possibly biopsy it.
