Sinus : Most pain in or around an eye is from sinusitis or headache. Pain reliever and decongestant should relieve it. If not, or if it is getting worse, go see your doctor. It could also be due to an eye problem such an inflammation in (called uveitis) or around the eye. High blood-pressure rarely causes pain. You need to see an eye doctor to really rule this out. You should check your brother blood-pressure anyways.
