my knee is really tight & when i walk sometimes it gives out sometimes. what can i do to make it better? and how can i avoid injury when working out?

Swelling in knee: Could be swelling in the knee itself or injury to the tendon or muscles around the knee. See your doc to get it evaluated. As for the injury prevention, work c a trainor or slowly progress the resistance and number of reps ypu do.
