Yes but not likely: The pain you describe could be from your kidney but a constant kidney pain for six months is unlikely but should be looked into. Chronic infection is possible but when in the kidney usually will make a person very sick. Stones, cysts or tumor possible and should be checked. Most likely is rib pain.
