Ulcer Pains?: Stomach ulcers are generally caused by an increase in stomach acid or reduction of gastric mucus. Some causes are stress and infection. If anti-acid and diet changes aren't effective, see a dr. They can prescribe a proton pump inhibitor which is very effective. It is important to get treatment because complications can occur such as stomach perforation which can cause internal bleeding.
