A member asked:

Does high estrogen levels causes long periods? i mean less amounts of blood everyday causing more days than usual with the period?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

With increased level: Of estrogen the periods are genarally either heavier or longer but generally not lighter and longer. That may be just a variation or you may have a small uterine fibroid that may be revealing itself in this way. It can be difficult to explain why one is having changes in duration of menses but see your doc if concerned. Good luck.
