Depends: Location, a bit small, for needle open video assisted may work well, if superficial . Also, how long has it been present? Any growth? Pet scan?

Variable: Depending on location, resources and training of the physician; biopsies can be via interventional radiology with ct-scan guidance, they can be by routine bronchoscopy, it can be via electromagnetic navigation bronchoscopy, it can be via vats or thoracotomy.
