Depends: Location, a bit small, for needle open video assisted may work well, if superficial . Also, how long has it been present? Any growth? Pet scan?

Variable: Depending on location, resources and training of the physician; biopsies can be via interventional radiology with ct-scan guidance, they can be by routine bronchoscopy, it can be via electromagnetic navigation bronchoscopy, it can be via vats or thoracotomy.

6 months ago several lung solid and ground glass nodules were seen during a stomach CT. The largest is 7mm. I just had another CT and the largest is still 7mm. It is lobulated in the upper right lung. Should this be biopsied or retest?
