Feeling vs action: It's not uncommon to feel attracted to people other than one's spouse -- and is safe as long as this is simple appreciation. What you choose to do about it matters a lot. You could look carefully at your marriage and see how you & your husband are treating each other -- consider whether specific needs might not be being met within that relationship. A psychologist could help you do this.

Marital problems: Please see a psychiatrist or psychologist to understand stresses in your marriage, and how those stresses are affecting your emotional, physical and sexual intimacy, and to resolve your sexual conflicts with your husband.

Control: It's not a problem until it starts to disrupt her life. If she is obsessively thinking about this other guy it could cause real problems in her life. If she acts on these feelings it takes these problems to an elevated level. Seeing a psychologist would help her sort her feelings out and figure out what's going on with her marriage. Best wishes to her.
