More is never better: In medicine it has been proven over and over and over that the assumption that taking more and more medications, supplements, vitamins will be better. But in reality when it comes to these things more is dangerous in almost all instances. So when a doctor hears a question like yours the red flags fly to full mast and worry begins to appear. The best advice i can give is to follow the recommended.

No: High doses of fish oil increase of significant bleeding. High doses of glucosamine have no added benefit over the standard dose of 1, 500 mg daily. Tumeric, imo, has no value.
