Can i pass out while drinking alcohol and taking metformin?

In moderation, no.: You may run into trouble with severe low blood sugar levels if you take other diabetic medications which cause hypoglycemia (metformin alone is not one of them), since alcohol impairs the liver's ability to release glucose if you are hypoglycemic. Since you need a healthy liver to metabolize metformin properly, i would advise moderation in your alcohol intake.
