Costochondritis: Inflammation can occur at costochondral junctions(cartilage) near sternum called costochondritis or tietze syndrome. .Most cases of costochondritis have no apparent cause. In these cases, treatment focuses on easing pain until costochondritis improves on its own. Pleuritis or inflammation around lung can produce positional pain.. Sometimes pain related to breathing.
