A 40-year-old female asked:

I know anyone can be allergic to anything at any time, but what really is the likelihood that an adult w/no prev allergy will react to peanut or fish?

Not high: Incidence of food allergy among adults hovers below 1% in the general population. I would not be too concerned about something that is unlikely to occur.
